I was at the circle K tonight. You would think you were safe there, right? I was waiting to pay and some 40something guy behind me in line grabbed the spike in my ear to see if it was real. He didn't seem to see anything wrong with this. He didn't even ask me about it first, which is normal
WHAT THE FUCK?!!!!
I told him about people touching my hair when it was purple (ie: they acted like it should feel like tapioca) he said "It's nothing like that, I would never touch your hair."
Thanks, but is grabbing a piece of steel that's in my ear better?!

so this is my first post in a loooooooong time.
I've been out of internet access and now I'm back but I can't promise regular updates 'cause I work too damn much!
Jamie and I are happy, we have the house to ourselves after some roommate shuffling, so we are expanding into an office/sewing room. If jamie had any ideas for our spare room they are moot, I have taken over. The 'puter, sewing machine, and books have assimilated the extra space. He woke me up yesterday saying we should get married so that is on the agenda for the next 2 years. I want plenty of time to plan.
Friday's is crazy, I have some great coworkers and some shitty ones, one girl had never seen a service animal (ie: seeing eye dog) before and tried to kick out a guy in a wheelchair with a dog. Not the sharpest crayon in the box! Just makes me think we should up the age for alachol service to at least 25 so you get to drink before you serve. But I don't think this girl would benefit from the extra years.
There is a BIG FAT CAT (fatboy 22 lbs.) requesting my attention now so I have to go.

So I'm in california, somewhere, at Ben's house (one of Jamie's friends) listening to music and discussing the benefits of thrift stores, awesome music stores, and lots of alcohol! We are in love with san francisco, I think this is a good place for us. We can't find a single reason to NOT move here. How do you move a cat across the country? |

I still have no internet at my house.
But, I have good reason. A ton of shit has happened since my last post, as it would have since it's been like 5 months since I've posted.
Jamie and I are going on vacation in Aug. to New York and California, we are thinking about moving to Cali after our lease is up next year. I always wondered what I'd do when I didn't have any parental ties to Orlando anymore and I think I need to get out for a while. I have never felt a sense of homelessness like I do now that my Dad's house has been sold. It's weird. AS Barry Freeman recently told me "there's a big wide world out there" and I intend to see some of it. |

I have sooooooo much crap it's unbelievable. I've been storing my life at my Dad's house for the last 15 years or so and now I have it all crammed into Jamie's room, arghhhhhhhh! Today is cleaning day, I've got a carload of shit to take to the goodwill and still I can barely open the door to our bedroom. I did manage to get the big gold 70's couches and my Dad's computer so soon I will be able to post from my own house instead of waiting for opportunities like this. |

So my room is painted thanks to Heather and others. Also, my bathroom looks absolutely heavenly, it is now a soft pale green instead of the strange peach sponge painting my Mom did years ago. It no longer looks like peach T.V. snow with light blue tile.
I'm unable to go to Bitches dinner due to lack of funds and time.
I'm getting way behind on all my phone calls I need to make, first I was moving and painting, today my crazy sister was at my Dad's house and I had to escape.
I'm at Heather's and updating everything but I left most of my numbers at home. Heather just got cable and we are geeking out with HGTV.
I guess I'm going out tonight, but only for a bit to have a beer or 2 with Kris and Co. |

My room is about halfway painted. Heathra and Co. helped me a whole fucking bunch and I love them for it. I gotta do something to make this house my own.
I'm getting some slave labor tomorrow, yippee!
It's not really slave labor, he will be compensated for his time, if you know what I mean. Besides, I love hanging out with him anyway.
I also got the strangest offer tonight, not once but twice. It was kinda like a booty call but he wanted me to drive to Ocala for fuck's sake. I wasn't even his first call, he said he figured he could demand sex from me because I had done it to him in the past.
I'm not sure how I feel about that. |

We got the paint, rollers, brushes, and, most importantly, the CAULK!

I'm just glad the damn thing didn't crash on me again. I'm using crappy but free Juno dial up to connect.
It's like I'm back in 1995!
I finally got all my clothes put away, noe I need to paint my room.
I'm never happy unless I've got multiple projects going on. So here's my list for right now.
1. Paint my bedroom, bathroom and office.
2. Work on my two books in progress.
3. Get a job.
4. Get all the things on my list to finish my bedroom and office. computer, T.V., a chair, some lamps, just basic stuff. All I own right now is a dresser, a broken futon, one side table, one small lamp, and a HUGE glass desk.
It's funny all the things you take for granted as being "ours" until you break up and realize it was all really "his". |

I am soooo gassy today I'm really glad no one is in the room with me!
